Yvonne stayed at home to look after the children whilst they were young She worked at Harrow School as a cleaner where she stayed for over 22 years. She also worked at St Lukes Hospice (at the same time) in the housekeeping team for around 15 years. She retired in 2007 but continued to work part-time helping her long-time friends Brian and Valerie Parr on their boats
